It's never too late to be the mentor you wish you had early in your career!

Recently, I’ve found myself reflecting a lot on my career—the choices I’ve made, the lessons I’ve learned, and the journey that brought me here.
And there’s one thought that keeps rising to the surface ...
I wish I had someone like me when I was starting out.
When I began my career, I had no mentor, no roadmap—just trial, error, and some very hard lessons along the way.
Looking back, I see the opportunities I missed, the mistakes I could have avoided, and the smarter choices I would have made if someone had been there to guide me.
If I’d had a mentor to help me navigate the business world, advocate for myself, and make strategic decisions, I know I would have been farther along, faster.
That’s why I’m passionate about mentoring young leaders today.
I know what it’s like to feel lost, to struggle through setbacks, and to wish someone had pulled me aside and said, “Here’s how you do this.”
So now, I am that person.
If I can help someone avoid the struggles I faced—if I can make their path just a little easier—then every hard-earned lesson was worth it.
Sadly, I know my experience is not unique, and so many others out there have also built it all on their own.
Let's strive to make life a little easier for the next generation: What’s one piece of advice you wish someone had shared with you sooner?
